SOTOGRANDE
Luxury & Privilege

One of the most luxurious and exclusive resort destination in Europe.

Sotogrande is located next to famous “Costa del Sol” (Malaga) and a stone’s throw from Africa, within of San Roque area, in the province of Cadiz. One of Europe’s leading luxury residential, leisure and sporting destinations.

The Sotogrande story began in 1962, when visionary Joseph McMicking, impressed by the luxurious Forbes Park estate in Manila, Philippines, thought it would be an interesting idea to build something similar. He commissioned a search for a suitable location, which needed to have pristine beaches and access to an airport, and this area of the province of Cadiz had just that. After visiting it personally, McMicking, with the help of his two nephews, Jaime and Enrique Zobel, finally decided to build the dream that is today Sotogrande.

This Mediterranean paradise, with its 2,500 hectares, offers unique and unrivalled amenities and services along with world-class sports such as Polo, Golf, Sailing, Tennis and more. As well as being a first class holiday and residential destination to enjoy life, family and elite sports.
